When creating an account, the system creates a "User" page and a "Public" page for the user. The User page is completely private and is visible to the user only, while the Public page is, by default, visible to other users as well visitors. The Public page displays the user's first name, last name, user name, profile image, banner, and any links the user chose to make public. The user has the option to toggle the visibility of their Public page at any time. When a Public pages is hidden, it is visible to the user (owner) of the Public page only. Users can search for other users' Public pages via first name, last name, or user name. Users can also search for public links shared by other Users on CarryLinks. Hidden Public pages do not show in search results and are not suggested to other users.

7. Accessing and Updating Information

Users can update their Personal Information from the Settings page. At any time, users can backup their links from CarryLinks and remove voluntarily personal information they provided to CarryLinks. In addition, users can terminate their accounts. Please be aware that account deletion will also result in deletion of all the user's data (including links, profile image, and banners), and CarryLinks recommends that the user backs up their links before deleting their account. Despite account deletion, CarryLinks may retain some or all information for up to 60 days, or as long as necessary, to enforce our agreements and satisfy our legal, audit, and/or dispute resolution requirements before the data is fully removed from CarryLinks servers.

8. Cookies and Information Gathering Technologies

A "cookie" is a small text file recorded temporarily or persistently in the user's browser allowing a website to recognize recurring visitors to facilitate their ongoing access to and use of the website.
